Furniss began practicing law after serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Marion and Washington Counties. Over the following decade, Glen S. Shearer joined the firm in 1979, bringing extensive experience in workers' compensation and insurance litigation, followed by Gregory J. Leineweber in 1984, whose background included service as an Assistant District Attorney and years in private practice.
