The law firm of Furniss Shearer & Leineweber serves the needs
of individuals, families and small business in Oregon for over 40 years. While our firm’s name has changed over the years as lawyers join, leave and retire, our dedication to deliver excellent legal services has not changed.

The present law partners of Furniss Shearer & Leineweber each have over 30 years of legal experience and are awarded by Martindale - Hubbell (“the world’s most trusted legal resource”) the rating of AV Preeminent. Martindale - Hubbell declares this to be “the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards; the pinnacle of professional excellence earned through a strenuous Peer Review Rating process.”

The founder of our law firm, L. M. Schouboe, was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1950. Upon Mr. Schouboe’s retirement, the firm name changed from Schouboe and Furniss to Furniss Shearer & Leineweber.

The attorneys of Furniss Shearer & Leineweber

support and serve individuals, families and small businesses in varied areas of the law. We represent clients in all types of injury, property damage and worker compensation claims.

Our lawyers also advise and assist families with estate planning, wills and trusts, guardianship, conservatorship and probate administration.

We also counsel small business clients on the legal aspects of formation and operation of their business.

While we do not practice in all areas of the law, with our years of experience and attorney contacts, we can provide counsel and trusted referrals to help you with your legal needs.
